Fizzy, born Philipp Rode, was born and raised in Bremerhaven 1997. After graduating from high school with a focus on multimedia in 2016, he completed a one-year diploma with a focus on camera at the Bavarian Academy for Television in Munich (BAF). He then began an 18-month camera traineeship at an advertising production and worked as a freelancer from 2019 to 2021 with jobs including camera, camera assistance, editing and lighting.

Since 2021, Fizzy is studying cinematography at the Filmakademie Baden-Württemberg.
